Okay, so I have been busy I guess...
It has been quite awhile since I have blogged here, about my own work. I did a cool job for Make-a-Wish, where they had me design two bowls and help wish-kids to paint them, and they presented one as thank-you to Disney for 25 years of wishes and the other to the new CEO of Make-a-Wish. Fun job. I have been doing the library tile, finally, took a long time to get the job okayed, and has been hard for me to motivate to finish it, but getting close now. I'll post pics eventually, of all this stuff....

Definition of Ceramic
A recent post to an email group called "Naked Raku"
******
I recieved this definition while touring the Ceramic Color & Chemical MFG.Co in New Brighton, PA, July'04
"Minerals of variable compostion and rather doubtful purity are subjected to an unmeasurable thermal treatment for a period of time just enough to allow unknown reaction to take place incompletely, yielding the heterogenous, nonstoichiometric material known by the name ceramic."
Unfortunately, the person did not sign the name.
